Privacy Policy

Your account. Email address, and a password hash or a Google account identifier if you sign in that way. We never see your Google password.

Your work in the product. Saved filters, favourited parcels, and the private notes you write on them.

Billing. Handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and your plan status. We never receive or store your card number.

Operational logs. Requests, errors and timings, retained for a limited period to keep the service working and to investigate faults.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share which parcels you look at, favourite, or take notes on with anyone: not with counties, not with other subscribers, not with advertisers.
• We do not run advertising or third-party tracking pixels on the product.

Your private notes are private. They are stored scoped to your account and are not included in any shared, exported, or aggregated view.

To provide the service you subscribed to, to bill you, to send the alerts you explicitly asked for by enabling a saved filter, to send necessary account and billing emails, and to keep the service secure and working.

We do not send marketing email to subscribers who have not asked for it. Alert emails stop the moment you turn a filter off.

We use a small number of processors, each for one job:

• Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel: hosting for the web application.
• Railway: hosting for the data collection service.
• Stripe: payment processing.
• Resend: sending alert and account email.
• Anthropic: extracting listings from county documents.

County documents we send for extraction contain public government records, not your personal information.

We may disclose information if legally required to, and will tell you unless prohibited from doing so.

Account data is kept while your account exists. If you delete your account we remove your personal data, saved filters, favourites and notes within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes.

Property and county records are public government data and are retained indefinitely, because they are not personal information about you.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Email deedhawk@proton.me and we will action it within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA; we honour those requests regardless of where you are.

DeedCompass is operated from the United States and data is processed there. If you use the service from outside the US, and a meaningful share of our subscribers do, you are consenting to that transfer.

We set one cookie, for your login session. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why you are not seeing a consent banner.
